Betrayal Poem

To be broken hearted
feels like an eternity to recover
if only I wasn't so bighearted
emotionally it takes forever
still wondering why you left me
leaving me with unanswered questions
considering if I should just let it be
or ask people for any suggestions
will I ever wake up from this everlasting confusion
I don't even know what's true anymore
knowing that I won't reach a conclusion
no more will I play this game of adore
betrayed by the person you once cared about
never again shall I give my heart away like a hand out
