The poem "Betrayal" is by Dan McDonald. This poem is about someone who has been betrayed by the one he/she loves. The poet talks about how he wishes he could make things right. In stanza two line 16, the poet says " how can I make things right?". In stanza three he talks about all the emotions he goes through since he has been betrayed.

"Before I go"  Analysis

The poem "Before I go" is written by Vivian Gilbert Zabel. This poem is about the narrator wanting to tell the person who betrayed her about all the emotions she has gone through because of them. The narrator repeats the line Before I go, you should know. I believe she repeats that so that she gets the point across that she is going to leave after the betrayal and other emotions she has gone through.
